Here's the deal - Jenkins has prayed for snow since Thanksgiving. Literally, every night! Most people don't think much about snow but when you live in South Carolina....and you are almost 6 years old (and have never really seen it) - you WANT snow. We got our first snow of 2009 on January 20th and boy, did Jenkins enjoy it! To our amazement - we got more snow on February 4th. And now ( if you ever doubted that the Lord hears children's prayers ) they are forecasting snow for this Sunday night into Monday morning. Yes, I'll repeat - they are predicting snow in South Carolina in March!!!
We took lots of pictures during the last two snow days and I've shared a few of them above. Jenkins actually took the first picture of me....and then the rest are just some pictures that I really like. I sure hope they call off school if it does snow.....because there is absolutely nothing better than spending the day with Jenkins - playing in the snow and drinking coco with little marshmallows!
