For today . . .

OUTSIDE MY WINDOW ...... I am loving the cooler weather! Fall is my favorite time of year! Cool weather....leaves changing colors.....warm sweaters....snuggling with my guys!

I AM THINKING ....alot about some special friends. Bayler is having scans done today and a friend of mine had an appointment with her daughter with an oncologist in Columbia, as they found a mass in her breast last week. I can't imagine how these mothers deal with these situations and pray that I never have to find out first hand.

WE ARE LEARNING ....all the rules about football! Okay, technically, Johnny already knows the rules so just Jenkins & I are learning. It is so fun to watch my lil' man play! He was so excited that he brought down a 2nd grader on Saturday. :o)

I AM THANKFUL FOR ....so many things! My family, friends, church family.....good health, a job.....I'm truly blessed!

FROM THE KITCHEN ......My kitchen will be closed today...LOL! Jenkins has football practice and my guess is that Subway will be providing our supper.

I AM WEARING ... jeans and a blue polo shirt. I am so glad that I didn't have to wear dress clothes today.

I AM GOING ... to have a good week! No auditors....Jenkins first football game and cooler temps!

I AM READING ... nothing at the moment. I finished Nicholas Sparks new book, The Last Song, this morning around 2:30am. Yeah.....three hours of sleep doesn't feel like nearly enough!

I AM CREATING ... Jenkins' birthday letter! Every year I write Jenkins a letter about all the events that happened during the past year. I try to update the letter each month so I make certain that I don't forget anything. I hope he likes the letters as he gets older.....but I love putting my thoughts into words for him to read at a later time.

I AM HOPING ... Bayler and Kathyrn get great results today!

I AM HEARING ... elevator music! I am currently on hold with the ped's office checking on a flu shot for Jenkins.

AROUND THE HOUSE ... I am learning to throw things away immediately instead of letting them accumulate on the counter.

ONE OF MY FAVOURITE THINGS ... is to hear Johnny & Jenkins laughing together. Something about their smiles and laughter warms my heart!

A FEW PLANS FOR THE REST OF THE WEEK ... work, football practice tonight, a football game tomorrow......more practice.....another game on Saturday and then church, a birthday party and AWANAs on Sunday.
